Meet the Spring 2025 Team

This spring, Emerson College Students are honored to be working with Tattes throughout Boston to bring joy and validation through diverse books to Mather School Students. We can't wait to meet the Mather School students a the culmination of our campaign. Scroll down to meet our enthusiastic team!

Website and Blog Team

Marion is a junior Vocal Performance Major with a minor in Entrepreneurship transferring to Emerson from the Longy School of Music. She is extremely passionate about music literacy and classical music reinvigoration and hopes to found a nonprofit to offer programs for classical music education in schools and opera theatre companies around the U.S. and generate funding for opera enrichment projects. Her favorite book growing up was Where The Wild Things Are.
Natalie-Lorraine is currently a Business of Creative Enterprises major and Entrepreneurial Studies minor at Emerson College. In addition to her deep interests in creative business, Natalie is an experienced musician, former competitive equestrian, and avid home cook. Natalie has spent much of her free time volunteering at various organisations such as Brady Therapeutic Riding, Girls on the Run, and the San Francisco Food Bank. Growing up, her favourite book was Robert McCloskey’s Blueberries For Sal.

Marketing/PR Team

Julia (she/her) is a Senior Writing, Literature, and Publishing Major with a concentration in Literature! In her free time, she loves to bake, crochet and knit, watch movies, and stage manage. As a literature major, to Julia, books mean everything, and in elementary school, her favorites ranged from Fancy Nancy in Kindergarten to Sweet Valley High in the middle years to Looking for Alaska in 6th grade. She is so proud of and excited about this campaign!
Emma BIO
Sophia is a Junior Communication Studies major with a double minor in Public Relations and Nonprofit Management. She grew up in Brookline, MA, and later settled with her family in Needham, MA. As an Asian American, Sophia aims to influence her understanding of communication strategies through her cultural background. Sophia is driven by the value that effective communication can bridge the divides and inspire change.

Xintong is a junior student at Emerson College majoring in Public Relations. Her favorite book is Li Bihua's Farewell My Concubine. She likes to read different kinds of novels because they can expose her to many surreal plots and expand her imagination of the world.
Melody is a junior studying Business of Creative Enterprises at Emerson College. She's originally from Shanghai, and her favorite book is Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami. She loves its deep reflection on relationships and personal growth.

Stevie (she/her)  is a current communication studies major. She is from Los Angeles, and a super fun fact about her is that she has three dogs named Maple, Prudence, and Frankie. She has a passion for storytelling and currently works at The Fund for the Public Interest (Environment Massachusetts). She loves learning about the behind-the-scenes of nonprofit work and environmental advocacy.

Elle (she/her) is a junior Public Relations major with a minor in Leadership & Management. She grew up all over the country but currently lives in Ellenton, Florida. She has been doing improv for ten years and it is her favorite hobby outside of reading! Her favorite book in first grade was Twilight. She just wants other kids to find something that makes them happy like she did!

Kendra is a Communications major, she is on the women's basketball team at emerson and is passionate about that her teammates and the love for the competitive game and and helping others and her favorite childhood book was don't let the pigeon drive the bus or elephant and piggy can I read too
Cotton is a sophomore political communications major from Maine. He likes hiking, running, and reading. His favorite thing to read growing up was the Percy Jackson series.

 

Catrina is a Junior BCE major from New York. She loves to dance, write and chat with anyone she meet! Her favorite book growing up was Pink-a-licious!

Nate is Senior Communication Studies from Hingham Massachusetts. His favorite childhood book was Oh, the places you’ll go by Dr Seuss.

Nirvana is a senior journalism major from Melrose, Massachusetts with tri-minors in peace & social justice, poetry, and non-profit communication. As a library assistant at fourteen and now an avid kindle reader, books mean a world of things to Nirvana: a door into another universe, a chance to learn history, and a place to find inspiration and possibility.
Mel is a Junio PR major from Haiti. She loves to read (mostly biographies, sometimes fictional stories that feel extremely real). She comes from a country where 90% of the population is illiterate, so OTSPB is really important to her!

 


STAR is a first year grad student majoring in Film and Media Arts. Prioritizing the minority narrative in her work is very important to her. She loves reading, especially horror and thriller fictional stories the most! Books are windows to look at the world, so she appreciates this chance to let more kids like her younger self have that opportunity. Her favorite book growing up was Everything I Never Told You  by Celeste Ng.
